NEWCASTLE anglers will have a better chance to catch fish offshore this summer, Primary Industries Minister Ian Macdonald has said.

The Government has launched a fish attracting device, designed to entice ocean fish such as dolphinfish.

The devices are at Newcastle, Swansea and Port Stephens.
